Guided Tours
We offer professionally guided mountain bike tours in cooperation with Salzkammergut Mountain Bike Center.
We offer 4 fixed tours per week for Euro 30 per person.
We promise that at least three of these tours start at our hotel and that there are always two ability groups available.
The two other tours might start from other points and have 3 difficulty levels to choose from: 200 – 500 meters elevation gain, 600 – 900 meters elevation gain and 1000 – 1300 meters elevation gain.
Helmut Simonlehner, head of the Salzkammergut Mountain Bike Center, will group participants according to their fitness level. Different groups for different abilities mean that however confident you are, you’ll be well catered for.
Fixed tours that do not start at the hotel can be booked in conjunction with a shuttle service (costs depend on distance traveled). These tours offer a great opportunity to explore the wonderful lakes and mountains in the greater Salzkammergut region.
At our hotel we always display a list with the week’s fixed tours. Helmut will also discuss all the tour details will the participants. Highlights such as “Ewige Wand”, “Hütteneckalm” and “Plassen” are always included.
Since ALL guides are locals they know the Salzkammergut like the back of their hands. They are not only familiar with the best trails and most scenic spots, they also know a lot about the region and its history. As certified mountain bike guides they combine each tour with a short skills training session.
PRIVATE GUIDE
Alternatively you can always book a private guide for you and your friends.
A private guides costs €95 for 4 riders and €130 for groups of 5 to 10 riders.
A second guide will accompany groups of more than 10 persons. Please contact us for tailored offers.
SKILLS TRAINING
If you wish to improve your riding skills you can participate in a 2-hour skills class for Euro 20 per person.
