We have been a partner of the Alpine Mountain Bike Experts since 2001. We offer a minimum of four guided tours for two ability groups per week.
Mountain Bike Holidays
The select hotels, regions and bike centers are part of the “Mountain Bike Holidays” associations are experts in providing outstanding service for cyclists and mountain bikers. They know that there is not one single offer that satisfies all needs and that everybody has a different perception of what a perfect holiday is. The difficulty lies in creating holiday packages that meet the demands and wishes of a wide range of customers and that’s exactly what “Mountain Bike Holidays” does – they offer packages and deals for all kinds of interests, fitness levels and ages.
Our hotel is located on the 2004 world championship road race course, the Salzkammergut-Mountain Bike Trophy course, the Dachstein loop and countless more designated mountain bike routes that range for easy to demanding.
Your host Andrea Schenner will provide you with first information on the mountainbike-region and mountainbike-routes at check-in.
Our mountainbike-tours are all supervised by Helmut Simonlehner, head of the Salzkammergut Mountain Bike Center, triathlon coach and certified mountain bike guide.
Helmut will come to Agathawirt to inform you on the guided mountainbike-tours, skills classes and mountainbike-workshops available and will happily answer any questions you might have.
Helmut will guide some of the mountainbike-tours himself; most will be led by his team of local experts though. Helmust main focus in skills training, bike workshops and training consultation.
At the Agathawirt-hotel we have a bike info corner with a great selection of mountainbike-maps and cycling tours for our guests to peruse.
Our community tables are a popular meeting place for locals and guests alike where they can share their experiences and exchange information and tips.

GPS data can be downloaded for free for most mountainbike-routes in the Salzkammergut.
If you wish we can download the data to your GPS device. Garmin GPS devices can be rented for Euro 10 per day.
